Type Locality and Naming
Along the Koktyurlyk bend of the Syr Darya River, in the area of the Kayrakum Reservoir, Western Fergana. S.A. Nesmeianov, 1965 (324, p. 103). The term is used with limitations.
Synonym: Koktyurlyuk Suite, Кокторлокская св.
Lithology and Thickness
Conglomerates with lenses of sandstones, siltstone (aleurolites), and loess-like rocks. Thickness 80-400m.

Lower contact
Unconformably overlies the Aksaray Fm and older formations.
Upper contact
Covered by Quaternary deposits.

Western Fergana. Correlated with the Kepelian suite.
